My Timeline is showing Media Offline. The Viewer however is not. The Viewer plays everything normally. If I click on a Offline clip in the Timelime, the picture returns to normal only to reappear as Media Offline after the project is shut down and reopened. I have trashed Preferences with no luck. Any advice? Thanks, John K

I think this may mean the Render Files are lost. The one time it happened to me, I could not figure it out. Luckily, I didn’t need to. Hope someone else will chime in.

Did you enter a legitimate reel number when you captured the material? If not, add one in the browser now and see if that fixes the issue.

Unless you have changed the default thumbnails, try deleting the Thumbnail Cache.

Excellent input dude ! Just checked the thread coz I was having this issue.
I already thought it might be more a thumbnail issue than an file offline issue
but did not know how to solve this.
    You Solved it.
    Thanks
