  This is nuts…I accidentally disconnected my external hard drive. When I reconnected one particular clip in my project now appears to be offline. I click on the clip in the Timeline and try to reconnect it and this is what I get:

  Offline files
  ” is missing

  FCP doesnt seem to know the name of the clip even though it says the correct name on the clip in the timeline and in my browser. Its weird. I made some edits to the clip and I dont want to have to do them all over again. Not sure what is going on. Hope I explained this clearly.
