I’m running Davinci 9 Lite, and I have a problem where one of the clips in the timeline is showing as if it’s not connected (red). The media is in the media pool, and it shows up fine. Is there a way to re-link that one clip? I brought all of the media in with an xml created in FCP7. I’m doing a roun-trip.

You can try to force-link it, but also make sure that it is “legal” as a supported media type, etc.

Also, make sure your timeline is unlocked. If it is not, “Force conform” will not be available (greyed out).

Okay, so I’m able to force conform now, but I noticed that many of the clips in DaVinci’s timeline do not match clips from FCP7. The weird thing is, I didn’t get any errors when importing the XML. This is all ProRes out of an Alexa. What could this mean?
