Media Mover for FCP?
I’m looking for a way of managing media for several projects on a RAID. My point of reference is tools for Avid Media Composer systems. Avid’s Media Tool is great and Media Mover worked well for archiving media from many projects. Can anyone suggest a similar app or method for FCP HD?

I am not familiar with the Avid workflow but in FCP there is a feature called Media Manager that allows you to delet clips that aren’t used in your project and save the project with all the render files and project files into a new project and save it to any drives you would like. The Media Manager is located under the “File” heading in the tool bar, just below the Log and Capture. It is easy to use and extremely helpful in managing large projects. Hope this helps.
