Media Manager won’t work
Posted by Paul Jones on June 1, 2009 at 7:16 pmLooks like it a day ( night ) of problems
I have just finished a project and media manager won’t work on any of my sequences.
I want to backup to my external hard drive for safety.
If I open and old project then it works fine it just seems to be on everything I have done today ??

June 1, 2009 at 7:40 pmQuit. Restart your computer. Try again.
If not…then try to open an Autosaved version of that project.

June 1, 2009 at 7:43 pmRight click on any of the sequences I’ve done today and nothing happens
Copy Edit to a new sequence, nothing,
Copy everything to a new project, still nothing.
Highlight everything in the timeline, click media manager and I get general error 34.
Media manager works on all of my other projects -

June 1, 2009 at 9:42 pmThe project settings are = DV PAL
The sequence settings are? =DV PAL
Your raw material is? = A mixture of MPEGS all converted to DV PAL and stills ( tiff, jpeg & png )
Your raw material is stored where? = Seperate hard disk in one folder
Trash Prefs, Repair Disc Permission, etc… haven’t worked? = haven’t tried that yet, nervous about the project corrupting
