Media Manager weirdness
I am going through my massive hard drive and archiving the projects I’ve done in the past year or so. Most videos aren’t any more than 5 minutes, so I’m able to use Media Manager to preserve the entire project while clearing up tons of space on my drives. With 2-3 projects, however, Media Manager just isn’t seeming to work. On project, in particular, is 4 minutes long and it’s all DV footage. The project right now is 40 GB. (I usually digitize the entire tape and then edit…for me it’s quicker) When I open up Media Manager, it tells me that the modified project will be 38.7 GB. WHAT? I just don’t understand why some projects don’t want to work with me. Has anybody run into this and know how to resolve the problem?
