Media Manager Problem in Version 5

I’m having the exact same problem. Anyone figure this out.

I managed to help a friend fix their problem. The only thing we did was to ensure that each clip had a unique Reel name. The challenge they have is that every clip is a ‘capture now’ clip, therefore each clip has timecode starting at zero. If two clips then had the same Reel name then FCP sees them as the same and can’t handle it…
Not a solution though for those batch digitising or capturing using timecode…Sorry.

Still seems to me to be a FCP buggy thing…as I’ve had it working in the past on entire captured tapes (Great when it works!!!), and then not work on other material.
