Media manager missing file
I’m not very organized and sometimes render a file to my desktop. When I delete or move this file and re-open vegas it say it is missing even though it is not on the timeline. It is driving me crazy. With larger projects I don’t know if they are really missing from my timeline or just the media manager. I never use the manager so can it be done away with? Hope this makes sense.

I don’t think this is the media manager complaining. It is the Project Media tab. To fix this, switch to the Project Media tab and press the Lightning Bolt icon. This will Sweep the media pool and remove and invalid references. Then save the project.
