Media management question
Is there a way of renaming and moving files on a Finder level from within FCP? I’ve just finished a project where a lot of still photos were used. Since they were being retouched in the process, I ended up with a few folders of files named, how should I put it, carelessly. I’d like to clean all that mess up, rename the media in FCP, follow that with renaming the sources, moving them to one folder and finally relinking media. All that can be acomplished manually of course but it takes a loooong time. Is there a script or a method for acomplishing this task (or at least part of it) automatically? Something like Doug Adams scripts for iTunes that are godsend if you’re a Virgo neat freak 🙂
