Media Management FCPX Macbreak Studio 197
Learned 2 things:
– FCPX, when doing a Reveal in Finder when working with aliasses, finally links to the original files. Thank you Apple for listening!
– Copying an Event with aliasses can only copy the event with links, and if you want it, make it into real media. It used to always copy all the media, even if your original project only used aliasses. Great!
Seems much more usefull and thought-out now. Don’t know if these are 10.0.6 or 10.0.7 features, but I like it.

BTW I think it’s good that you can keep the aliases (“sims”) in your “home base” system while the mobile system gets the real deal.If Apple keeps this up some people might mistake FCPX for progressing as a “professional” NLE. 😉
