I have a DVPRO HD sequence with 4 audio channels.

I want to delete three of the channels and then
media manage the project so that I have a folder of quicktime files with only the correct audio channel I need..

Does anyone know if this possible?

    Thanks,

    mike

This might be a little risky, but you could open media in QT player and delete the audio track that you don’t need. Then reconnect it in FCP and media manage.

Other wise, FCP will just export all of the audio channels of the original files.

Theoretically, media manager should do this.

Practically, we NEVER media manage audio. We pass the original audio all the way to final on-line intact and only manage picture files.

Audio files are small enough not to have to worry about space issues.

I would suggest creating a small test project and testing the workflow to see if it does what you expect.
