  Media in shared FCP projects not relinking to Motion Template

  Hi all,

  I have a FCP 7 project that I’m sharing between two different editing stations. I created a motion template with drop zones at one station and in FCP added media to the drop zones. I copied the template file to the second station, but when I send the FCP sequence I was working on to that second station, the motion template opens in FCP but the media that I had originally placed in the drop zones does not relink/open. Instead, I just get an empty motion template. The motion template file is in the right location at the Finder level and appears in the Master Templates drop down menu in FCP, but the work I do in one FCP project doesn’t carry over to the second when I bring the sequence in. Am I missing a step or doing something that would not cause the media to relink in the template?
