Yup…that’s what you have to do. Capture and re-edit that stuff manually. Now you know why professional videographers always throw up 30 seconds of COLOR BARS at the head of tapes…to get you that pre-roll. If you can’t do that, then shoot black for 20-30 seconds. Helps avoid this mess.
