Media Express and Live Key
Hi there,
just got off the phone with BMD tech support and they suggested checking on a forum to see if anyone could recommend a 3rd party app, but 1st I should explain what I’m trying to achieve (or rather, what I was asking support).
Is there any way to utilise both Live Key and Media Express together so that Media Express could essentially function as a playout server for video clips to be keyed over existing footage, either directly or as a key/fill input for a switcher. I’d like to be able to put together a listing of clips with alpha to be played out at various points as overlays on an existing video stream. There are a few software productions that I’ve found out there (OnTheAir for example) but none of which would be anywhere near as elegant as if Media Express would play the key!
Grant – if you’re out there – this would be a great feature to add in to Media Express!
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
