  Media Encoder Update no longer supporting 608 captioning

  It seems that the new version (8.1) of Media Encoder strips the 608 captioning off when rendering MXF OP1A. This doesn’t happen on all exports. The only commonality I can find is that it seems to happen only on HD source material with embedded 608/708 captioning. The last 7.0 versions worked fine. Renders are fine when done directly from the timeline, but I need to be able to batch process through ME. Any suggestions? Adobe phone support was of little help and simply said that 3rd party captioning was not supported.
