Media Encoder super slow for proxies
Hi,
I’ve posted a little while ago this new problem I’ve encountered with lagging, choppy, sluggish playback in Premiere.

That lead me to have to do some proxies. I’ve seen it work fast (e.g. at a normal rate) but these past days I’ve seen the thing only run so slow.. Like each clip take 10x its length or more… Screen grabs incl.
And if you want to know what I’ve tried to see how I tested my system/Windows and PP, go read my extensive list of tryouts… (RAM tests, system tests and MANY other things), please read my other post.
Any idea why it’s going snail-style like that?
