I have been using FCP and Compressor for years now. I’m in the middle to switching to Adobe’s Production suite. It’s gone smoothly except for one thing.

I had an Apple Compressor setting of:

    File Extension: mov
    Estimated size: unknown
    Audio Encoder
    AAC, Stereo (L R), 44.100 kHz
    Video Encoder
    Format: QT
    Width: 640
    Height: 480
    Pixel aspect ratio: Square
    Crop: None
    Padding: None
    Frame rate: 29.97
    Frame Controls: Automatically selected: Off
    Codec Type: H.264
    Multi-pass: On, frame reorder: On
    Pixel depth: 24
    Spatial quality: 36
    Min. Spatial quality: 25
    Temporal quality: 50
    Min. temporal quality: 25

I basically created the same setting in Media Encoder and the video is just garbage. I use this setting for hour long presentations that go on the web. I can’t seem to recreate the same compressor results. Any suggestions?
