I have a 2012 Mac Pro running OS10.10.4 with 28 gb of RAM and an NVIDia GeForce GTX 680 graphics card. I’m editing on Creative Cloud CC2015. Recently, Adobe Media Encoder had been crashing and taking my whole computer with it. I hear a click, and my computer has shut off. It starts and gets about a third of the way in before it crashes. At first, I thought it was only when I render ProRes Quicktime movies, but now it’s been doing it with H.264 as well. I needed to get my last project out, so after the crash in Media Encoder, I rendered it out fine directly from the exporter in Premiere Pro with the same preset settings.

Does anyone have any experience with this or know what’s wrong?
