Media Compsoer 12.1 on XP?
I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck running Media Composer 12.1 Meridien on Windows XP? The system we are buying as a backup editer is currently running on Windows 2000 and we would rather run XP on that box. Any thoughts are appreciated.

we updated our old MC 1000 V11.x to the Version 12 and while the avid guy was at our company i asked him about exact that ‘problem’.
he said that the meridien hardware is not supported by winodws xp professionel and it is not possible to run your mc 12.x with this system.
by now we bought two new media composer software versions with mojo sdi. this is perfectly running and hell yeah, they are so much faster than our old mc1000 (though i miss it a little bit)rock on
