media composer “creation date” vs “creationdate”
i’ve just started on an avid project and i’m finding a lot of the bins(i’ve not been injesting myself) have both a “creation date” column and a “creationdate” (no space) column. This has been coming in very handy as i have both the date and time that the media was injested (aka “creation date”) and the date and time it was shot (aka “creationdate”)
all my bins are able to show the injestion date but some bins don’t display the shooting date (“creationdate”) – does this mean the information isn’t available on the media in those bins?
obviously i’ve tried changing the column headings but there is no option there for the “creationdate” with no space… the actual “shooting date” column displays no information on any of the media
does anyone know how this works as i’m searching masses of footage for bits i’m missing and if i can get the shooting date on all of my media it will save me a lot of time…

Save a bin view from one of the bins that has both creationdate and creation date columns. Then invoke that view from the other bins. The column should be there, but if there are no values it is because none were created during the ingest.
