    Media Composer cannot play video – HDMI to flat screen TV

    Hi all,
    hope you can help me with this.

    This is how my Media Composer (version 8.3.1) window looks:

    The audio plays fine but no video.
    The computer is connected to a flat screen TV via HDMI, would this effect Media Composer playback?

    Any idea?

    What happens when you disconnect that cable from the TV, does it work fine? or are you using the TV as your computer diplay? Or tryng to use it as second display and do full screen playback on it?
