Media Composer 6 floating windows
Hi all,
Just downloaded the trial of MC6 and am puzzled by the floating windows. Is there any way to force them to ‘snap’ into place? Ala FCP? I’m an FCP editor at present but am just scoping the area for the inevitable future move, and I’m used to having the floating windows that also ‘snap’ into place underneath/next to each other. MC just seems to have everything floating, nothing able to snap.
Maybe it’s just me that’s put off by this? Or maybe I’ve not ticked a box somewhere?Thanks in advance.

Nah, they don’t snap like they do on FCP, except if they are really close together sometimes they nudge into place. It’s something that really annoyed me when first using MC, but once you create a setup that you like (and take the time to place every window pixel perfect) it ceases to become an issue.
