Media Cataloging Software Suggestions
Hey!
Does anyone have any recommendations for third party applications that can help cataloging a lot of media in the background. Let me explain the problem. We are a medium size Post facility with all of our media assets in a server we access via fiber. Unfortunately the SEARCH function on our Mac OS doesn’t allow us to locate assets by typing search criteria. As an alternative we can use Adobe Bridge but the problem is that every time you click on a folder or collection it may take as long as 5-10 minutes to index all the files before you can look at them. Our guess would be some sort of app that is constantly working at the server level as oppose to a software that works in each individual client computer.
Any ideas?
