I have a client’s 12TB OWC drive that Media Browser doesn’t see. Running on Mac, both CS6 and now CC. I’ve read two things in various forums: it might be that the OWC drive needs to be reformatted by disk utility within the mac… and it might be that even if properly formatted, Premiere, for some reason, won’t see a drive if it’s bigger than a certain limit. Is that true? Does anyone know the size limit?

    Thanks,
    Bill L.

This. The problem is in how OWC formats the drive, not in the drive size. I have a 16TB RAID5 unit (four 4TB drives) and PPro didn’t see it until formatted it in Disk Utility.
