Up until recently our Media 100 system has been a solid editing solution.

Now it has been displaying some very wierd behaviour!

Very slow performance & crashing when editing titles in Boris Graffitti. If you try & click anywhere while it is applying an effect etc it will crash Media 100. If you let it think about what it is doing (e.g. wait for it to finish applying a stroke etc before typing more text) it will be fine, but this is impractical and VERY slow. Not very good when you are trying to work very fast with a client watching you!

Poor quality title rendering. Supers/titles have very poor quality and looks like the fields are even reversed when they are rendered. Unrendered supers look normal. Some text can render bad and some good within the same title!? I have found that selecting “Better quality field rendering” within the Boris preferences helps but i dont understand why this problem would occur to start with.

I want to avoid re-installing media100 if at all possible.

    My system spec are:
    Media 100i/xs v8.2.2
    Boris Graffitti 2.1

    Mac G4 Dual 1.25Ghz
    OSX v10.3.9
    1gb ddr sdram

    Thanks for any help!
