Let me start be saying that I am not a Media 100 editor – I have four 8.1.1 systems on G4’s deployed at remote locations which I have inherited. Here is what I observed:
Digitize a still frame that is half black and half white. Adjust the proc amp so that black is 7.5 and white is 100 ire. Now take that clip and play it back off the timeline through the wave form and black is still 7.5 but the white is at 90 ire. In fact with other images it seems that the whole range is being dropped by 10 ire while keeping the 7.5 at the bottom. The work crushed comes to mind.
Any advice? I need to solve this issue – thanks in advance………….Al
