    Hey everyone,

    Just a note to let you know that we have posted v1.1.2 of Media 100 Suite on the download page at our website.

    NEW FEATURES

    Support for AJA driver version 7.1: Media 100 Suite v1.1.2 supports AJA v7.1 software with the following cards:

    •Kona 3
    •LHi
    •LHe
    •LSe

    Support for Matrox driver version 1.8.1: Media 100 Suite v1.1.2 supports Matrox v1.8.1 software with the
    MXO2 line of I/O devices.

    FIXED IN THIS RELEASE

    After Effects Integration: Video Preview from After Effects using the Media 100 V-OUT component has been
    restored.

    After Effects Integration: Resolved an issue where users with “Boris XML Transfer” installed could not import
    XMLs exported from Media 100 into After Effects. As a result of this fix, the “AE Project Importer” has been
    renamed to “Boris XML Transfer for Media 100”. The new plug-in must be placed in the After Effects Plug-ins
    folder and the old one should be removed.

    MultiClip: Performance has been significantly improved on long MultiClips.

    MultiClip: Resolved an issue where L-Cut MultiClips could play audio from the wrong camera after a split-clip
    operation.

    MultiClip: Resolved an issue where incorrect images were being displayed in the Source Window when the Stop
    Mode was set to Second Field.

    MultiClip: Resolved an issue where audio cross fades were effectively being applied twice in MultiClips.

    MultiClip: Added ability for MultiClip timelines to display timecode in excess of 12 hours.

    XML Interchange: Resolvedan issue where video imported to Media 100 Suite from P2 would appear in Apple
    Color as still frames.

    I/O Hardware: Resolved an issue where audio channels were swapping on HDMI input with the AJA LHi card.

    I/O Hardware: Resolved an issue where ability to adjust Analog Audio Level was not available in all cases where
    it should be with AJA hardware.

    I/O Hardware: Accurate channel descriptions are now displayed in the Audio window for Matrox and Blackmagic
    hardware.

    General: Added enhanced support for higher timecode values when using 50fps or 60fps media.

    General: Resolved an issue which caused Boris Compositions to render black.

    General: Resolved an issue which could cause a crash when rendering.

    General: Resolved an issue where Boris RED could run out of memory.

    General: Resolved an issue when importing QuickTime movies and changing their frame rate.

    General: Resolved several drawing issues with certain graphics cards on Snow Leopard.

    Thanks Wickham, can you please just confirm that this version is good with OS Snow Leopard and what QT and Boris Red versions should run with this?

    Hey Wick,

    thanks a lot for this release. The speed improvement is really great!!! Much smoother workflow now, especially with long timelines and multiclips.

    Mac OS: Leopard 10.5.8 or Snow Leopard 10.6.2
    As for QT, the easiest thing to do is simply run Software Update and take whatever it offers.

    It seems, though, that downconverting real-time while digitizing hasn’t been resolved in this release. Or am I doing something wrong?

    Hi Eric,

    You’re not doing anything wrong, it turned out to be an issue that the folks at AJA need to solve. They’ve told us that they’re on it and the fix should be in their next driver update.
