We just uploaded the first point-release for Media 100 Suite.

There are no earth-shattering fixes in there, unless they relate to your specific workflow, that is 😉

    In this release:

    – Fixed an issue where transitions to and from a MultiClip where removed when choosing “Make Separate Clips from MultiClip”

    – Fixed an issue where HDMI input was not correctly indicated in the Input Channel Mapping window when using the AJA LHi

    – Fixed an issue where some files would import with their audio tracks drastically out of sync.

    – Fixed an issue where transitions between 1080p and 1080i clips would not render correctly

    – VoiceOver tool now shows correct CTI position when a record is aborted

    – HDx-based systems can now acquire 1080psf as 1080p

    – Improved 1080p playback to 1080i output with HDx cards

    – Improved support for Matrox MXO2 line of I/O devices

Erm, am I missing where on the website this is?

Sorry about that. Forgot to mention that this replaces v1.0 so all you need to do is download the Suite v1 installer and you’ll find that it installs v1.0.1.

Aloha – Sweet 1.0.1 doesn’t see my Kona LHe card.

When I reinstall v1.0, it shows it only needs to install
    the Frameworks.

    Hope that helps!

    Blessings,

    Bob

Thanks for your message. I would have gone nuts….

I just installed 1.01 onto my MacPro, 10.5.8, with a Kona 3 and the software didn’t see the board. I shut down, waited, restarted, shut down again, made the usual sacrifices to the usual suspects, restarted again, and still nothing. Did an uninstall of M100, reinstalled v 1.0 and all is well again. A bit scary as a client edit is happening in less than an hour. I’m quite relieved.

Looking forward to hearing when all is clear,

    Michael

    Arrrgggghh!!!!!!

In my haste to get this release availabe to eveyone I forgot to mention perhaps the most significant thing about it…

It uses the AJA v6.5 Drivers!!!

I’ll do a fresh post once I’ve had some coffee so those that come after you brave early adopters have a smoother the of it.

PS: Forgot to ask a perhaps dumb question, which version of the 6.5 driver, regular or NDD?

    Thanks again,

    Michael

Either works. I always use NDD.
