Media 100 Digitizing Problems
I use a Sony DSR30 to bring in media via firewire to my Mac. I’m running Media 100 version 8.2.1 and it has worked for ever until recently. Everytime I try to digitize from the edit menu, it says cannot sync, check connection. The mac see the DSR30 so I know its there, but no matter what i’ve done, it won’t work. Sent DSR30 off to be checked and nothing wrong. Had Apple check the config and nothing wrong. Asked media 100 for help, but they never responded. Any ideas?

If the Mac “sees” the deck (e.g. in iMovie), you have connected it to the FireWire port on your Mac. You need to connect it to the FireWire Port of your P6000 board to use it in Media 100 i.
