November 1, 2005 at 4:12 pmI don’t think the codecs are involved with my problem, since my Media 100 is crashing before it gets to that point. It’s been working fine for many years with my existing software, but now it’s crashing as soon as I click the “export from edit suite” after I select a program range, BEFORE it gets to the dialog box that asks me what codec do I want.
What does an error listing “Media 100 Daemon” mean? My error message says: “Media 100 daemon has encountered an error and quit. Please restart.”
Another colleaugue suggested re-installing the software. How do I uninstall it first?
