We have tried everything to get Media 100 7.5.1 to open. I keep getting the error loading the media 100 7.5.1 library. The error comes on every time the MAC 9.2.2 is booted. The MAC store had it for a week and could not resolve this. They tried a new hard drive and the error still came up, tried the media 100 6. version and the same thing happened. I have used this system for many years, in the past month it started to crash at every second boot up. I can’t get anyone on the phone at Media 100. I really want to continue using this system and program for some of my productions. The MAC is not on the internet so no upgrades were done. Suggestions greatly appreciated!

    Thanks, Lorelei

Did you run the Media 100 hardware test? It could be the case that your Media 100 board starts to fail. Or maybe the PCI controller of your Computer, or…
Can you tell us what the exact error message is you are getting?

The error has been -19801 and -19201 error loading Media 100 library.
The repair person ran the diagnostics disc that came with my version 6.O. He even tried running that version but the same error came up. He said it was like there was something external creating the problem. It sounds like your option of the media 100 card might be the issue, I’m not sure what the PCI is.

    Thanks, Lorelei

Just a thought – have you tried disabling all the other extensions, and restarting using just the M100 startup items via Extensions Manager?
