Medai 100 & idvd
Media 100 12.0.2, mac 10.4.11, CS3, QT7 pro. Is anyone having trouble exporting from Media 100 and burning using idvd? When I try it, there is some kind of weird field rendering problem. I’ve exported using every codec combination I can think of. Any ideas?

Most likely your source footage is 720*486, while DVDs are 720*480. iDVD scales 720*486 to 480 instead of cropping it, introducing field artifacts. One thing you could try is to export your timeline as a DV stream (0-255 colorspace), which should be 720*480 and therefore not show the problems in iDVD.
