When I throw the Timecode Generator (Source) on to a timeline of clips off a card from a Canon camera, the timecode comes up as N.A.

I seem to remember there’s a way of copying the Source Timecode to One of the Auxiliary Timecode columns and getting the effect to reference that rather than the Source timecode, which works as a work-around.

But, I can’t remember how to do that. Can anyone help. please!!!

Found it on the Aivd Community forum

Try copying the clips tc to aux.1 using ctrl+D with the ‘start’ column highlighted. then choose ‘other counters’ in the tc generator and pick aux.1.
