    Hi,
    I have a project for school and I’m trying to recreate Magritte’s Carte Blanche painting.
    I’m trying to superimpose two clips where are identical, and have a part from one of the be above the other, so that the background will stay in the foreground(check the painting to make that clear).

    I thought of using Paint effect with RGBKeyer, but couldn’t get that to work.

    Any insight?

    Try using Animatte. You can draw up any matte(s) in various shapes and position it/them.
