  MC using multi processors or which Mac Pro is best ?

  Hi !

  Considering growing doubt as to whether or not Apple will come out with a new Mac Pro shortly,
  I’m seriously thinking of replacing my ageing Mac Pro 1,1 by a more recent machine as I cannot run 64bit MC 6 on it.
  Do any of you have knowledge on the pros and cons of 4 – 6 – 8 or 12 core ?
  Which Mac Pro does MC6 run best on ?

  At the moment, I am considering getting a 3,33 Ghz six core.
  What are your thoughts or comments?

  Tried searching this forum as well as Avid’s knowledge base (what a joke !) but to no serious avail.
