MC deleting projects issue
Can anyone advise me on what I am doing wrong? When I delete a project I first use the Media Tool, select the relevant drive and project, choose Master Clips and Precompute Clips and then delete everything that appears in the ensuing bin. Then, in the actual Project folder and Attic folder on the C: drive, I delete the relevant project folder.
This process works as far as removing old projects and media so that they no longer appear on my open window when I launch MC. However, the list in that window and the list that I have in the Media Tool do not mactch. In fact, the list in the launch/open window is what I want to see. But there is an old project still showing up in the Media Tool window plus a couple of current projects that should be there, but are not.
Any thoughts? Thanks, folks! I appreciate your expertise.

We use MediaMover. It puts everything associated with a job into the same folder. Then when you delete the folder it deletes everything assocaited with it. then to remove the job setting, we have a shortcut on the desktop that leads to the project folder. Yours maybe different but ours is “C:\Program Files\Avid\Media Composer Adrenaline\Avid Projects” Hope this helps.
