MC Adrenaline EMP
I am runing MC Adrenaline HD 2.1.6 and AfterEffects 6.5 on a Dual 3,4 HP xw8200 workstation.
I have installed the Avid EMP driver, which activates when I run AE, but in the AE settings dialog box I only have the option to choose betwen desktop monitor or Firewire output. So basically, there is no output through the Adrenaline hardware.
Any tips to get it working?

I’m not exactly sure why, but for me it worked pretty much right away. There should be an “AVID external monitor Settings” parameter in your preferences, all the way at the bottom. Open that up and switch the output format pulldown menu to NTSC or PAL, select your output levels, and it should work. If you don’t see the AVID External Monitor Settings, reinstall EMP. Hope that works!
