mc 8.3 subcap not running in real time
hi
any one know why avid mc8.3 and mc 8.3.1
dont let me to run real time supcap effect ?
i have a movie with 55min with about 300 subtitles import as subcap effect
the mc 8.3 and mc 8.3.1 dont run it in reel time
and i have to render all the project to watch it .need help

I just ran into this as well. Sub Cap performance on 8.3 is terrible. I’m on a new Mac Pro Trash Can
and the performance is way better on our 5 year old Mac Pro machines running V6 of Avid.
