  MC 8.10 on an iMac 10.13 sluggish unless connected to the internet

  Hey everyone,

  I’ve got 15 MC’s running 8.9.4 on OSX10.12 on various Mac Pro Towers, cheese graters and trashcans. All connected to shared storage, very fast data rates, running smoothly.

  We recently bought two new iMac’s that run OSX10.13.1 so I need to run MC 8.10 on them. It’s a perpetual license with a subscription. One of these is behaving badly on a regular basis. I discovered that if it’s got a solid internet connection it appears to work much better.

  Any thoughts? I open APP Manager and I see it’s trying to determine if it should activate Phrase Sync or Symphony, and it just spins until I open an internet connection.

  Can’t find anything on the boards but I imagine this is something others have encountered.

  Any thought?
