  MC 5.5 install problem

  I uninstalled Xpress Studio and the 002 drivers, and updated the dongle. Installed MC 5.5 and the software freezes upon booting up the editing application at “Initializing Audio Plug Ins”. I screwed up and didn’t uninstall the associated programs (EDL Manager…etc).
  Uninstalled MC and all the old Avid programs I could find. Reinstalled MC, 002 drivers and nVidia drivers. Still freezes up at the same point. Any solutions? Thanks, Tim
