MC 5.5 and Stage Tools question….
Hello, the powers that be recently installed Stage Tools on my Avid MC 5.5 and I can’t figure out how to make the background transparent.
I apply the Stage Tools effect to a background in my timeline, launch the Stage Tools Editor, pan-zoom-etc the photo, “apply moves and close” out of Stage Tools, render the effect in the timeline… the back ground is black, I need the picture to pan and zoom over the animated background in which I applied the Stage Tools effect to.
I’ve also tried laying the animated background on v1 and applying the Stage Tools effect to filler right above on v2. still not able to see the background, just black.
How do you set the background to transparent? Is there a setting I’m missing? I’ve turned the”ignore Alpha Channel” box off and on and get black background both ways.
Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind. You need to ad an alpha in photoshop.
