Can anyone recommend a 4 drive, 8TB RAID 5 configuration that will work with a 17in MBP with express card slot for Video Editing Pro Res 422 HQ? All the “boxes’ I’ve seen need a PCIe card. Thanks.

Jim, take a look at the CalDigit HDOne. I wrote a Cow review at https://library.creativecow.net/articles/weiss_roth_david/caldigit_HDOne.php that discusses and shows the various controller options, including their Express card. As I stated in the article, “if you’re looking for peace of mind in a box, you can’t go wrong with CalDigit.”

Oh, I like the 8 bay raid box David. Plenty of room to grow and I can go raid 5 or 6. Thanks a bunch for the review!
