    MBP 17 battery charge suck

    Hi,

    I have a 1 month old 17″ MacBook Pro i5. At the first thime it worked about 5-6 hours with Wifi and half brightness but know I realized that this time is reduced. Do you know any program what can show me were goes my charge from the battery?

    Figure Screen brightness, fans and HD access are your biggest eaters of power (along with how busy your processor is.)

    I don’t know of anything that specifies how much is going where – but coconut battery will give you the health and some other statistics on your battery.

    Well I think I figured It out. When I only watched TV the MBP switched to the NVIDIA 330M graphic card (I Don’t know why). I have found a small program called gfxCardStatus wich can inform you about the video cards and you can choose manualy between them.
