Hi guys … I often do editing on a sd (canopus rt) system which sits next to our blackmagic system.

I was just wondering if anyone had tried running an analogue signal eg s-video from another computer into the multibridge extreme and it appears on the attached lcd display? So the multibridge would be acting as an analogue to digital display converter.

If it does do this, would it be able to fit the screen?

I don’t have a display yet to test it myself.

    thanks for any help!

    Hi,

If the Multibridge Extreme is connected to the Mac in capture/playback mode (via PCIe), you’ll need to be in record mode. You can either use Blackmagic Deck Control or Log and Capture in Final Cut Pro.

[miles and Jules] “If it does do this, would it be able to fit the screen?”

If you enable the fill screen option.
