Maybe the most basic problem for a project. Restoring windows.
Hey guys,
well recently i’ve been asked to make a video for someone, and i’m almost done, but as basic and novice as it seems i’ve managed to move the ” edit generated text media ” off the page, no problem like this has ever occured before so i haven’t the slightest clue how to centre it again. I’m sure people know, and help would be really appreciated.All the best, Jack.

Odds are that it’s hiding at the bottom of the page.
Try hiding your task bar to see if it shows up.
If that doesn’t work, temporarily set your screen resolution to the next higher setting and it should become visible.
Either way, once you find it, dock it again, change things back the way they were and you’ll be back in business 🙂 -
If Mikes suggestions don’t work (and they should) you can reset the setup to factory defaults by rebooting Vegas with the Ctrl and shift keys depressed. HOWEVER any personalized settings will be lost.

You could also use View | Window Layouts | Default Layout to put all of the windows back in their place.
