the problem: my flash video won’t play on mac

i’m outputting a quicktime reference file from avid to go into the sorenson squeeze application. i’ve changed and applied different variables nearly a dozen different times and i continue to get the same result: loud white noise over video.

the video plays fine when accessed from a pc, and other flash videos on the site play on mac, just not mine. also, the other flash videos were created using sorenson squeeze…the only difference that i know of is that the videos that play fine on mac were all cut and exported using final cut pro, whereas mine is from Avid.

if you’re currently working from a mac, feel free to check out the video and see for yourself at:

    SuperNewsOnline.com

the video in question is titled “Architect Jim Engh shows knack for bold design.”

    thanks for any help…

Video playing OK w Flash 8 plug on Safari (except for the “Media Offline” frame at the end fadeout), but the audio is horribly distorted, overdriven and broken up so as to not be understandable (the pauses are clear and quiet though).
