I want to learn those futuristic 3d animations that they use for sports or anything else, which one of these apps would be right for me, to let you get an idea, im thinking of an app that is easy (well relativley easy) to do animations like in sports center or some movie openers. I have maya right now, but its very complex and with school and other work its hard to really sit down and tame the beast.

Apparently 4D is the best fit with AE and relatively intuitive to learn. Not used it myself, but I’ve read lots of discussions on it here…

Cinema 4D is great for Motion Graphics.
Relatively easy for designers to pick up and contains excellent export of passes and 3D data to apps such as After Effects.
