We have been using a Matrox Digisuite LE for capturing video and outputting. We just purchased a Decklink Studio card and installed it in a different machine. (all windows xp boxes) If i try to import a video captured from the old Digisuite it crashes anything that tried to import it. (Premiere, After Effects, even windows media player) However if I uninstall the Blackmagic decklink software, those same files import fine. I am using the Matrox Software Codecs to make that work. I realize that these codecs may just not work with blackmagic, (unless someone is a miracle worker 🙂 so I am looking for workflow suggestions. Is there a way to convert these files easily into something Blackmagic can use? I am trying not to go uncompressed as it’s just too big for the number of clients/drive space that we have.
    File information is:

    720×486
    29.97
    Lower fields
    0.9 aspect

Things I’ve tried to convert the files:
Adobe Media Encoder (Very limited success)
After Effects (SLOW to convert hundreds of files this way)

    Thanks for any suggestions!
