Hi everyone, I wnated to recreate this maxon animation: https://www.maxon.net/pages/products/modules/mograph/mov_effectors_1.html

I’ve been experimenting with a step effector with a straight curve (clones grow constant) and with a height and size variation. I use the text I want to display as the fallof object. It works partially but the text can’t be read clearly (as in Maxon’s animation), it screws up the borders and he holes (the O hole) of the text.

Any ideas or alternative methods? maybe just a little parameter tweaking?

    Regards

    Alejandro

I think what they probably did was use two cloners: one for the wall of clones and another one for the word animation. I think they must have used a shader effector with the visibility parameter checked to create the word effect, along with another effector for the movement/scale.

The problem with object falloff is that it only works with the falloff object’s vertices, so as soon as it passes through, you lose the falloff.

It’s simpy a shader effector on a single cloner. The text is a movie.
