Maximum amount of RAM for use with HDX
Hi everyone,
three days ago my HDX system on a Dual 2 Ghz G5 (2204) died.
After the support Floh provided me and some troubleshooting, I have narrowed the problem to four (!!) defective memory DIMMS, only the 512MB (2 x 256) pre-installed in the factory pass the test.
Media 100’s CPG recommends 2GB total RAM for optimum performance, my question is, if I install 2 x 1GB DIMMS bringing the total amount of RAM to 2.5GB will the system be stable?
Can I add even more RAM to gain speed in After Effects i.e. without having a negative impact in the performance of Media100 HDX?

We have up to 4.5 GB and everything isd flawless…
